- Mentor junior QE team members on TypeScript/Playwright best practices
- Apply and help refine automation standards, coding practices, and code review processes for test code
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retros)
- Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate writing and maintaining Playwright test scripts
- Leverage AI tools to generate test case ideas and identify automation opportunities from requirements
- Use AI-enhanced search across bug tracking and documentation systems to speed up investigation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Hands-on, production experience with Playwright for test automation
- Experience integrating Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
- Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and own deliverables
- Comfort using GenAI tools (Copilot, Gemini, AI test generators) to accelerate automation and testing workflows
Nice to have

- Experience with API testing using Playwright's API testing capabilities
- Familiarity with containerization/cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP) for test execution
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray, TestRail)
- Track record of driving automation adoption or improving automation coverage on a team
