Job Summary Shriram General Insurance is seeking a skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, secure, and high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications. - Build user-friendly interfaces and integrate them with backend systems and APIs. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver high-quality web solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. - Optimize web applications for speed, performance, security, and scalability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and application issues. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. - Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance. - Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development practices. - Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or .NET. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web service integration. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with Git and version control systems. - Understanding of responsive design, web security, and performance optimization. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with full-stack web development. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of CMS platforms and web deployment processes. - Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. - Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
