Role overview
Guarana Technologies is seeking an Android application developer to join their mobile team and work closely with Project Managers and fellow developers to conceive and develop customer applications. The company works with over 100 startups across North America and offers an environment where developers can jump on new projects and explore new technologies throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Manager and Mobile team to conceive and develop customers' applications
- Work on logic and UI integration
- Collaborate with UX/UI experts, project managers, and other iOS and Android developers to build applications with great potential
- Help clients draft, refine, and launch mobile applications
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience developing on the Android platform
- Comfortable in Java and Kotlin, including language specificities and design patterns
- Creative with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Passion for product quality and attention to details
- Autonomy and efficiency are mandatory
- Must be a team player and effective collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Understanding of mobile devices performance issues
- Experience with GIT (working in collaboration)
- Experience with custom views and animations
- Experience submitting and releasing applications to Google Play
- Good written and spoken English
