QA Engineer – Mobile (Manual Testing)

About The Role InstaVision Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer specializing in Mobile Application Testing to ensure the quality and performance of our Android & iOS applications. Having experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger. You will play a critical role in delivering seamless user experiences by identifying bugs, validating features, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities ✔ Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms ✔ Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios ✔ Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar ✔ Conduct Functional, Regression, Network, Compatibility, UX, Usability, and Exploratory testing ✔ Validate UI/UX consistency across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes ✔ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues ✔ Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA reviews ✔ Ensure product quality before releases by performing pre-release validations Requirements ✔ 2–4 years of experience in Manual QA with mobile application testing ✔ Strong experience testing on Android and iOS devices ✔ Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle and testing methodologies ✔ Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) ✔ Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman is a plus) ✔ Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies ✔ Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have ✔ Basic understanding of mobile automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) ✔ Experience with CI/CD pipelines ✔ Knowledge of performance or security testing Show more
