Responsibilities
- Manage embedded Linux system lifecycle including security patches, updates, and long term support
- Implement and extend features on Linux based embedded measurement platforms
- Develop and maintain hardware related peripheral drivers for connected measurement devices
- Build and integrate industrial and IoT communication interfaces for device connectivity
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of system configuration, instrumentation, security, permissions, power management, and memory management
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining embedded Linux distributions with Yocto
- Experience with FOSS handling, SBOM generation, CVE tracking, and patch management
- Proven experience developing hardware-related peripheral drivers
- Familiarity with IoT and industrial protocols (e.g., Profinet, IEC61850, MQTT)
- Experience with automated workflows, GitLab, Jira, and CI/CD practices
- Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation
- Fluency in English
