Role overview
The Technical Marketing Engineer for Mission Critical telecommunication Solutions (MCS) has global responsibility to enable the Pre-Sales & Sales community of the different regional HUBs to understand technical market requirements for wired telecommunication networks and ensure customer interaction in line with global solution/product strategy. The role supports sales organizations in driving sales through technical expertise and provides relevant customer and market inputs to product management and R&D activities, ensuring market alignment and relevance.
Responsibilities
- Enable the Pre-Sales & Sales community of the different regional HUBs to understand technical market requirements for wired telecommunication networks.
- Ensure customer interaction in line with global solution/product strategy.
- Support sales organizations in driving sales by your technical expertise.
- Provide relevant customer & market inputs to product management and R&D activities, ensuring market alignment and relevance.
- Support Global Projects by adapting HVDC Base Control & Protection Software (MACH).
- Develop Control and Protection Functions / Solutions for future HVDC technologies.
- Perform Power system protection / control studies using EMT tool based on project requirements to optimise fault detection algorithms and setting philosophies.
- Support projects in resolving the issues related to Control and Protection Functions.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders across the business units to get inputs to optimise the HVDC solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics.
- Minimum work experience of 5 to 8 years in Control and Protection system.
- Knowledge & Skills in PSCAD, MATLAB, or any other Simulation Software.
- Basic knowledge on IEEE / IEC standards.
- Knowledge & Experience MS Office: Word, Excel.
Nice to have
- Preferred experience from HVDC System.
- Digital signal processing experience is preferred.
- Analog circuits experience is preferred.
- Digital circuits experience is preferred.
- Experience in technical tender support or bidding is preferred.
- Experience in substation environment and protection application are preferred.
