They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workday HR Technical Lead to join their HR IT team in India, who will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday integrations, a deep understanding of HR processes, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting Workday solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage Workday Integrations that are built on Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) and Data Transformation, Custom Report and Calculated Fields, Workday Studio (Inbound/Outbound), XSLT, Payroll Integration (PICOF/PECI), Core Connectors (Inbound/Outbound/WECI), Web Services, Workday Extend
- Work with various third-party vendors including Payroll Vendors, Learning Providers
- Design and generate customized reports and dashboards to support HR and business decision-making
- Utilize Workday reporting tools to extract and analyze HR data for various stakeholders
- Provide basic Workday system configuration on any two Core HR, Absence, Time tracking, compensation modules with Compensation preferable as one of the modules
- Maintain business process configurations and security settings (basic implementation knowledge)
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
- Analyze current HR processes and propose innovative solutions to maximize the effectiveness of the Workday system
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing system-related inquiries and issues
- Develop and conduct training sessions for HR and other relevant teams to ensure efficient and effective use of the Workday system
- Manage data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing best practices for data governance
- Work on data migration and integration projects to ensure seamless flow of information across the organization
- Stay informed about Workday updates, releases, and new features
- Plan and execute system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum utilization of new functionalities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with organizational goals
- Ensure that the Workday system is in compliance with relevant data protection and security regulations
- Monitor and address any security vulnerabilities or risks related to the Workday system
- Conduct end-to-end implementation through different phases including Discovery sessions, Planning, Documentations, Build, E2E testing, Deployment and Hypercare
- Create and Maintain different Security Groups including Integration, User Based and Role Based Groups
Requirements
- Total experience of 5-8 years
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Workday HCM system analyst, with in-depth knowledge of Workday Integrations, reporting, configuration and customization
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with data management, reporting, and analytics within the Workday platform
- Knowledge of relevant data protection and security regulations
- Expert in different APIs including SOAP (Workday Delivered/Third Party), REST (Workday Delivered/WQL), RAAS
- Experienced in end-to-end implementation through different phases including Discovery sessions, Planning, Documentations, Build, E2E testing, Deployment and Hypercare
- Technical skills: Inbound and Outbound EIBs
- Technical skills: Core Connector Worker (CCW), Core Connector "x" (various) (including vendor specific templates)
- Technical skills: Workday Studio Inbound/Outbound (SOAP, RAAS, WD API, Third Party API, Effective and Non-Effective dated custom objects)
- Technical skills: Document Transformation
- Technical skills: Workday Extend (PMDs, Scripts, ABOs, Custom Business Processes, Orchestration)
