Role overview
Senior Software Developer (Java / Full Stack) responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high‑performance applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern front‑end frameworks (React.js / AngularJS) on AWS. The role includes system architecture, code quality, performance optimization, mentoring junior developers, and production support while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high‑quality applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Develop responsive and dynamic UI components using React.js and/or AngularJS
- Integrate front‑end applications with backend services
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platform
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and best practices
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above)
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design
- Hands‑on experience with React.js and/or AngularJS
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
- 6+ years of professional experience
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of event‑driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to DevOps practices
- Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and security best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
