Role overview
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our analytics capability and help elevate how we measure and understand performance across the business. This is a hands‑on role at the centre of the BI function, working directly with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, CRM, Risk, Operations, and other areas of the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimise, and maintain advanced SQL queries across large datasets, including users, transactions, product performance, and marketing activity.
- Deliver recurring and ad‑hoc analysis across areas including Acquisition, CRM, Casino, Sportsbook, VIP, AML & Fraud, and Customer Support.
- Perform deep‑dive analysis across funnels, retention, conversion, monetisation, customer behaviour, and business performance.
- Structure business questions into appropriate analytical approaches and own analytical workstreams end‑to‑end.
- Identify meaningful trends, opportunities, risks, and anomalies within business data.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Define, track, and improve key performance indicators across relevant departments.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that translate complex datasets into clear and useful business insights.
- Deliver reporting that provides visibility across product, marketing, commercial, and operational performance.
- Continuously improve reporting based on changing business and stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across analytical and reporting outputs.
- Validate data sources, SQL queries, calculations, and analytical logic.
- Identify inconsistencies or data‑quality issues that could affect the reliability of reporting.
- Help maintain consistent analytical definitions and reporting methodologies.
- Work directly with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, CRM, Risk, Operations, and other business functions.
- Understand business questions and translate them into measurable analytical requirements.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations to support product, marketing, commercial, and operational decisions.
- Act as a trusted point of reference for analytics and data interpretation.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, and working with large‑scale datasets.
- Proven hands‑on experience with Google Analytics 4.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting using Tableau or a comparable BI platform.
- Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- A quantitative academic background such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar.
- 2–4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or a similar data‑focused role.
- Able to structure ambiguous business questions into clear analytical frameworks.
- Comfortable independently owning analytical work from initial question through to final insight.
- Proactive, curious, and willing to investigate beyond the immediate question.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the accuracy of your work.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, remote, and asynchronous environment.
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Candidates should be based within GMT‑3 to GMT +4.
Nice to have
- Experience working closely with Product or Marketing teams.
- Experience analysing acquisition, retention, conversion, monetisation, or customer behaviour.
- iGaming experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience or interest in crypto, fintech, or online entertainment.
