Role overview
Yassir is a leading super App in the Maghreb region operating in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, France, Canada, and Sub-Saharan Africa. The company offers on-demand services including ride-hailing and last-mile delivery, and is now introducing financial services to enable users to pay, save, and borrow digitally. As a full-stack developer specializing in Node.js and React, you will be part of the engineering team developing both client-side and server-side applications, with a focus on creating seamless integrations between the two while collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications using Node.js and React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Work with modern tools and technologies, maintaining code quality, organization, and automation
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize performance
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to technology, algorithms, and products
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to translate end-user requirements into effective technical solutions
- Embrace and solve complex challenges, delivering results on schedule
