Role overview
The App Framework team is developing a foundational Agentic App Builder platform on top of the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP). This platform enables teams across Zeta to develop, deploy, and operationalize applications that integrate with ZMP’s core capabilities, incorporating AI and agentic workflows directly into the development experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the Agentic App Builder platform—the services, APIs, and developer tools that enable teams to create, deploy, and manage applications on top of ZMP fast and at scale.
- Build intuitive frontend experiences in React/TypeScript that make the platform accessible and productive for application builders.
- Ship continuously and confidently through CI/CD, with observability, resilience and reliability built in from the start.
- Embed AI/LLM capabilities into the platform to enable agentic application development and intelligent automation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of your workflow to accelerate delivery while maintaining high quality.
- Collaborate with teams across Zeta to gather requirements, align on integration patterns, and ensure the platform meets real-world application needs.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and help establish the engineering practices and standards for the platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering with a track record of building and operating platform-level systems.
- Deep proficiency in at least two of Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Solid React/TypeScript skills on the frontend.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and comfort operating in multi-tenant, compliant environments.
- Practices continuous delivery, test-driven development, and agile.
- Already using AI-assisted coding tools.
- Strong communicator who thrives on cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience building agentic developer platforms, internal tooling, or app builder/low-code systems.
- MarTech or AdTech domain knowledge (DSPs, bid stream processing, data-intensive platforms).
- Familiarity with data stores: MySQL, Snowflake, Aerospike, DynamoDB, S3.
- Experience designing plugin architectures, SDK/API frameworks, or extensible platform systems.
