Role overview
Zenara Health is a technology-oriented mental healthcare organization building modern software for behavioral-health clinics, specifically products called Assess and Zenflow. They are seeking a Mid-Level Product & Delivery Lead who can act as a hands-on bridge between product vision and engineering execution, turning rough ideas into designed, buildable, and shippable product work. This is not a pure project management or UI design role, but a hybrid position requiring both experience design and delivery drive. The lead will work closely with the founder, Head of Engineering, and clinical stakeholders to establish a product operating rhythm in an AI-native environment, ensuring engineering moves faster through clear, designed, and prioritized work.
Responsibilities
- Turn product ideas into sketches, workflows, clickable prototypes, and final UI/UX.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap with the founder and commercial team.
- Write requirements with user flows, examples, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Own the active backlog and sprint rhythm in Linear.
- Keep tickets clear, prioritized, and ready for engineering.
- Chase decisions, clarify trade-offs, and prevent delivery from getting stuck.
- Collect customer and commercial feedback and turn it into prioritized product work.
- Review finished work against acceptance criteria before release.
- Use AI tools for research, drafting, prototyping, synthesis, and delivery tracking.
- Help define reusable UI patterns and product conventions across Assess and Zenflow.
- Help create the product operating rhythm including: clear product discovery, fast UI/UX exploration, practical prototypes, requirements with examples and edge cases, acceptance criteria engineering can build against, backlog hygiene, sprint planning and review, customer feedback loops, and delivery visibility across the team.
- Use AI to speed up product research and synthesis, convert rough conversations into structured requirements, generate and compare product options quickly, draft acceptance criteria and edge cases (refined with human judgment), and support delivery tracking without losing accountability.
Requirements
- Strong UI/UX ability, with real examples of product flows, prototypes, or shipped interfaces.
- Product management judgment: prioritization, roadmap ownership, trade-offs, and clear decision-making.
- Experience running sprints or delivery for a software team.
- Ability to write clear acceptance criteria with examples and edge cases.
- Comfort working with engineers and translating between customer needs and technical execution.
- Daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar systems for research, drafting, prototyping, or planning.
- High ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast.
- Strong communication and follow-through.
Nice to have
- Healthcare, health-tech, or clinical-workflow experience.
- Ability to read basic code or technical documentation.
- Experience with Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Startup experience.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation, based on demonstrated ability and experience
- Fully remote work
- Equipment allowance
- Direct access to the founder and Head of Engineering
- Significant ownership of product direction in an early-stage company

- Commitment: Approximately 50 hours per week
- Tools: Linear, Figma or similar design/prototyping tools, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools
- Domain: Clinical software for behavioral-health clinics (Assess and Zenflow product workflows)
- Success Metrics (30 Days): Own active backlog and sprint review, clarify next features with prototypes and acceptance criteria, and set up a simple customer-feedback loop.
- Success Metrics (90 Days): Roadmap owned and reviewed regularly with founder, every new feature begins from prototype and acceptance criteria, and sprints run without Head of Engineering tracking them.
- Long-term Success: Owning product delivery across Assess and Zenflow, improving on-time delivery and user acceptance, and establishing reusable design patterns.
- Ideal Candidate Profile: Enjoys both design and delivery, can turn ambiguity into clear plans, hands-on with prototyping and requirements, likes working with founders/engineers, uses AI to move faster while thinking carefully, and wants to build the product function.
