Role overview
The Senior CDP Consultant will architect and engineer end‑to‑end data orchestration and activation pipelines that power Pure Storage’s next‑generation Revenue Operations, building a high‑fidelity, high‑performance customer data foundation that accelerates global go‑to‑market execution and bridges operational silos across IT, Sales, Finance, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect Enterprise Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and scale high‑throughput data ingestion and transformation pipelines within our CDP to ensure marketing and sales environments have seamless access to real‑time, actionable insights.
- Engineer Third‑Party Data Integrations: Build and manage sophisticated data integration processes and REST API workflows with external data vendors, optimizing synchronization rules to maintain data continuity across the tech stack.
- Establish Data Quality & Governance Frameworks: Author and execute technical frameworks that continuously improve the health of core data domains—including account hierarchies, firmographics, and contact records—while embedding marketing requirements into enterprise‑wide Master Data Management (MDM) strategies.
- Drive Cross‑Functional System Synchronization: Partner with IT, Business Intelligence, and product engineering teams to design frictionless data flows that unify customer touchpoints and guarantee high‑availability data infrastructure for go‑to‑market teams.
Requirements
- Advanced Data & Pipeline Engineering: Extensive expertise in building scalable data pipelines, optimizing ingestion workflows, and managing complex data transformations within enterprise B2B environments.
- Modern Data Stack Mastery: Advanced technical proficiency with SQL, Snowflake architectures, dbt (data build tool), and REST API design, combined with deep database management and query performance optimization skills.
- B2B Data Governance & Integration Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex data integration, data quality frameworks, and enterprise‑level data governance practices specifically tailored for Go‑To‑Market (GTM) operations.
- Collaborative Problem Solving & Agile Execution: A strong track record of translating complex technical challenges into clear business solutions while working cross‑functionally across highly technical and non‑technical business units in an agile environment.
- Location: Expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless on PTO or approved leave.
