Assistant Network Manager

Job Summary Skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our organization's networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based network environments. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control policies. Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking environments. Configure and maintain network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs. Perform network upgrades, patches, and system maintenance. Ensure network availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness. Collaborate with IT teams to support business applications and services. Document network configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines. Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents within SLA requirements. Monitor network capacity and recommend improvements for scalability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology with 8 -12 Yrs in Networking, or related field. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking technologies. Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Wireshark. Knowledge of network security principles and best practices. Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
