Role overview

Apploft is seeking an experienced Android Software Developer to independently lead mobile app projects from start to finish. As the go-to person for mobile architecture and integration into existing software systems, you will design user interfaces following Android guidelines while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and idea sharing within the team.

Responsibilities

Program innovative Android apps and continue developing them
Lead projects independently from A to Z
Serve as the contact person for the architecture of mobile applications and their integration into existing software systems
Design user interfaces considering Android guidelines
Share ongoing development and ideas with the team
Take responsibility for mentoring a junior team member and share your expertise

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of algorithms and architectures as a very good software developer
At least five years of experience in Android app development with Java and Kotlin
Completed degree in computer science or equivalent
Disciplined approach to writing clean code, testing, and documentation
Goal-oriented programming style combined with openness and creativity for unusual solutions, with willingness to think beyond the obvious
Familiarity with distributed version control systems
Natural inclination toward showing initiative and taking responsibility
