Role overview
This is a Full Stack Developer role at EVERSANA, a global life sciences commercialization services provider certified as a Great Place to Work. The role is focused on delivering excellent business results through collaborative team efforts, and involves collaborating closely with Solutions Architects, Application/Technical Architects, and Business Analysts to design and deliver effective, robust system solutions. The developer will serve as a key member of the development team to build application services, front-end components, and integrate the two, while adhering to industry-leading design and coding practices. The role supports EVERSANA’s mission to bring innovative therapies to market and improve patient lives, as part of a 7,000+ strong global team serving more than 650 life sciences clients ranging from innovative biotech start-ups to established pharmaceutical companies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Application/Technical Architects, and Business Analysts to create effective solutions providing robust systems
- Serve as a key member of the development team, assisting with developing application services, application front end, and integrating frontend and backend components
- Follow and implement best design and coding practices as part of the development team
- Participate in requirement discussions, team meetings, technical sessions, and reviews
- Work closely with other development team members to integrate frontend with backend services and ensure end-to-end functionality works as expected
- Ensure all software is thoroughly tested and defect-free
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept (POC) work, and present demos and findings to team members
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC, Design Patterns, and JUnit
- Strong understanding of Relational Databases including SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Knowledge of developing microservices using SOAP and/or RESTful APIs, XML and JSON
- Experience with UI Development including JavaScript, CSS, HTML and associated frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap
- Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably with MongoDB
- Good experience in Azure DevOps
Nice to have
- Knowledge or experience with Reactive programming
- Knowledge or experience with Spring Security
- Knowledge or experience with Spring Cloud
- Experience working on AGILE methodology projects
- Graduation or higher educational qualification, with BE / BTech / ME / MTech preferred
- Any relevant professional certifications
