Role overview
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern to work remotely with the OpsAI team, designing intuitive and scalable enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered experiences, from research to implementation, in a startup environment focused on AI-driven operational infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to design user-centered experiences.
- Translate business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design dashboards, forms, workflows, and enterprise interfaces.
- Conduct user research and identify opportunities to improve usability.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Participate in usability testing and continuously iterate on product designs.
- Establish visual and interaction standards across products.
- Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure design consistency during implementation.
- Contribute to product documentation and design specifications.
- Support the continuous evolution of the overall product experience.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of UI and UX design principles.
- Hands-on experience using Figma or similar design tools.
- Good understanding of wireframing, prototyping, user-centered design methodologies, and responsive design principles.
- Comfortable creating user flows, wireframes, and interface mockups.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience designing web or mobile applications.
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience conducting usability testing or user research.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, frontend development, SaaS products, or enterprise software.
- Portfolio development through academic, personal, freelance, or open-source projects.
