Meesho is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Database Platform Team, responsible for building and growing a high‑impact platform engineering team, owning the technical roadmap, and delivering a unified database platform used by hundreds of engineers. The role involves close collaboration with Backend, Data, Infra, and SRE teams to scale the database ecosystem reliably, ensure ease of use, and maintain cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a high‑impact platform engineering team.
- Own the technical roadmap for the database platform.
- Deliver a unified database platform used by hundreds of engineers.
- Collaborate with Backend, Data, Infra, and SRE teams to ensure the database ecosystem scales reliably, is easy to use, and cost‑efficient.
- Blend system design, automation, developer experience, and reliability in platform engineering.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an Engineering Manager leading a technical team.
- Experience building and scaling database platforms and strong system design expertise.
