Role overview

Distribusion is a leading ground transportation marketplace, connecting bus, rail, and ferry operators with online retailers globally. As a (Senior) Technical Product Manager, Rail Integrations, you'll play a key role in scaling our business by onboarding carriers, innovating our inventory, and building revenue-increasing products. This position is part of our Supply domain's Integrations team, which focuses on automation and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Extend functionalities to enable new opportunities
  • Automate and innovate our existing inventory (our API product is already used by big players)
  • Own scoping and management of onboarding new carriers; establish wider scope throughout Asia
  • Take a lead role in defining and challenging strategic decisions
  • Contribute to the team with process improvements (e.g. Jira, reporting, etc.)
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external – C-level)

Requirements

  • Rail industry experience. Hands-on experience with PICO API, OSDM, or other European rail carrier and transportation industry standards.
  • Product Management background: 4+ years of professional experience, with hands-on exposure to the technical side of the product (APIs / data products) — experience with complex products is a plus.
  • Stakeholder management: strong track record influencing without direct authority, including at C-level, while comfortably context-switching and showing proactivity and ownership across your responsibilities.
  • Management skills: solid grounding across product, process, project, and people management, developed within cross-functional teams.
  • Background: technical or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have

  • Ready to lead (experience is a plus): you may have already managed a small team of technical PMs or analysts. If not, you're excited to start. You know how to coach, unblock, and grow people while staying close to the work

Benefits

  • Make a global impact. Help shape how millions of people discover and book ground transportation worldwide.
  • Own your work. Take responsibility from day one and see the direct impact of your contributions.
  • Build with the best tools. We move fast, continuously evolve our tech stack, and invest in modern, efficient solutions.
  • Work with industry leaders. Our partners include Google Maps, Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF.
  • Grow with exceptional people. Join an international team that will challenge, support, and inspire you every day.
  • Work your way. Enjoy flexible and remote-friendly working options, relocation opportunities, and plenty of room to grow.
