Role overview
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain stock-based compensation schedules, including option grants, RSUs, ESPP, and performance awards.
- Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718 (Compensation – Stock Compensation).
- Manage and reconcile the equity roll-forward, including tracking of shares outstanding, exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures.
- Work with external platforms to maintain integrity of equity.
- Partner with HR and Legal teams to validate grant data and ensure completeness and accuracy of equity.
- Calculate and record monthly/quarterly journal entries, including stock‑based compensation (SBC).
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to equity or compensation.
- Strong hold in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Nice to have
- MBA Finance / CPA (preferred).
