The engineering team builds high-scale mobile products where performance, reliability, and user experience directly impact millions of daily customer interactions. Job Roles & Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android applications using Kotlin while building reliable, high-performance mobile experiences for consumer-facing products. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver end-to-end features from planning through production release. - Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while implementing new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and architectural improvements following modern Android engineering best practices. - Build robust applications using Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Android Architecture Components, Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger), REST APIs, and modern Android development frameworks. - Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application stability, reliability, and release quality across evolving product features. - Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving ANRs, memory leaks, rendering issues, startup delays, and other performance bottlenecks. - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, technical documentation, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Android codebase. Ideal Candidate Profile - 1–6 years of professional Android application development experience with strong hands-on Kotlin expertise in production environments. - Strong understanding of Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android development practices. - Experience with Android Architecture Components including MVVM, LiveData, Room, View Binding, Data Binding, RecyclerView optimization, and clean architecture principles. - Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger, REST API integration, JSON/Protocol Buffers, Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Strong debugging skills with practical experience resolving ANRs, memory leaks, application crashes, and performance-related issues. - Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform, automated testing, scalable mobile architecture, and modern Android engineering practices will be an added advantage.
