Role overview
The BIM Modeler role is responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) using tools including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. The position supports end-to-end design and construction project phases by producing accurate 3D models and detailed construction drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and supporting design and construction teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models based on project requirements
- Create and manage Revit families, templates, and project files
- Coordinate with various consultants and internal teams to develop in-house BIM models at LOD/LOI 350
- Extract BOQ and coordinate with the business team for BOQ confirmation
- Generate construction documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules
- Coordinate models across Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free integration
- Implement and follow BIM standards, protocols, and naming conventions
- Participate in model reviews, coordination meetings, and quality checks
- Assist in clash detection and issue resolution using tools like Navisworks
- Keep models updated with changes and revisions throughout the design and construction phases
- Use BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring to project teams
- Understand and communicate any changes to procedures and standards to project teams, and offer cross-team support
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets, workflow, and project setup
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with Revit Tool, AutoCAD, ACC platform and a proven track record, with an interest in technology
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, LOD, Cobie)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow standards
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
Nice to have
- Experience from the power system industry, with electrical construction background and good understanding of electrical systems including HV/MV/LV distribution, cable trays, conduit systems, etc.
- Experience with Dynamo, BIM 360, or other automation tools
- Familiarity with IFC workflows and open BIM standards
- Previous involvement in large-scale or international BIM projects
