Role overview

The role is for an experienced data scientist, ML engineer, or computational scientist specializing in signal processing, ML, and clinical data science to support clinical studies and health research. The position provides technical expertise in integrating biomedical signal analysis, probabilistic modelling, and scalable data pipelines to ensure high-quality, reproducible insights from complex biomedical high frequency data, including electrophysiological, AI-based 24/7 video recordings, wearable-derived signals, tabular demographic and genetic data, and EHR. The individual will apply cutting-edge data science approaches while adhering to project timelines, working embedded within a pharmaceutical client with Cytel support, at the heart of client innovation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in integrating biomedical signal analysis, probabilistic modelling, and scalable data pipelines
Ensure high-quality, reproducible insights from complex biomedical high frequency data, including electrophysiological, AI-based 24/7 video recordings and wearable-derived signals, tabular data (demographic and genetic), and EHR
Apply cutting-edge data science approaches while adhering to project timelines
Support clinical studies and health research
Work fully embedded within one of our pharmaceutical clients, with the support of Cytel
Be at the heart of the client's innovation

Requirements

Experienced data scientist, ML engineer, or computational scientist
Specialization in signal processing, ML, and clinical data science
Technical expertise in integrating biomedical signal analysis, probabilistic modelling, and scalable data pipelines
Ability to ensure high-quality, reproducible insights from complex biomedical high frequency data
Experience with electrophysiological and wearable-derived signals, tabular data (demographic and genetic), and EHR
Experience with AI-based 24/7 video recordings
Applies cutting-edge data science approaches while adhering to project timelines
