Senior Java Developer role supporting offshore operations from India, focused on AWS Cloud architecture with microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud-native deployments. The position requires 12+ years of Java development experience with modern frameworks and strong English communication skills for working across IST and CST time zones.

Responsibilities

Work as a Senior Java Developer with partner supporting offshore from India
Work in AWS Cloud environment
Use Java, Spring Boot, NoSQL, and RDS Database tech stack
Work in TDD/JUnit, Git workflows, domain-driven design (DDD), and automated CI/CD pipelines
Work with microservice ecosystem patterns
Cover overlapping hours with US Central Standard Time (CST) when required

Requirements

12+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java (Java 11/17+ preferred)
Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security
Deep proficiency in both relational databases (AWS RDS / PostgreSQL / MySQL)
Deep proficiency in NoSQL engines (DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra)
Advanced working knowledge of AWS cloud services
Serverless/containerized deployments
Cloud-native architecture
Outstanding verbal/written English skills
Based in IST

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with event-driven messaging systems (Apache Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS)
AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
