The role is for a SAP Senior Developer who will lead SAP development across multiple projects and products, drive integrations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Actively design, develop, test, and maintain SAP solutions across multiple projects and products
- Drive implementation activities and support Agile development teams through sprint planning, code reviews, and technical guidance (Lead SAP Development)
- Develop and enhance integrations between SAP and connected applications, ensuring reliable and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements (Technical Solution Implementation)
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams, middleware teams (e.g., CPI), functional consultants, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions (Technical Coordination)
- Analyze requirements, provide technical recommendations, participate in technical workshops, and maintain effective communication with project teams and business stakeholders (Customer & Stakeholder Engagement)
- Ensure high-quality coding standards, timely delivery of project milestones, and effective support during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases (Quality & Delivery Management)
- Contribute to technical knowledge sharing, development best practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape (Continuous Improvement)
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (Educational qualification)
- Total experience: 8 to 10 years
- Relevant experience: 8+ years
- Strong SAP ABAP development and debugging skills
- Experience with SAP APIs, OData services, and SOAP web services
- Experience developing and supporting SAP S/4HANA applications
- Good knowledge within CDS-views
- Good understanding of SAP Project Systems (PS), including enhancements, APIs, BADIs, and integrations
- Experience with middleware technologies and integration platforms (e.g., SAP CPI, API-based integrations)
- Understanding of data structures and business processes in project and portfolio management environments
- Basic knowledge of SAP CO concepts such as settlement rules, timesheets, and cost allocations
- Familiarity with Change Management and Solution Documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks across multiple priorities
- Proven experience delivering SAP development projects in complex enterprise environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to explore new SAP technologies
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of solution architecture principles and integration patterns (Additional Knowledge)
- Exposure to architecture frameworks and design methodologies is beneficial but not required
- Understanding of Professional Services and project-driven business processes
- Knowledge of intercompany scenarios and multi-company-code environments is an advantage
