Role overview
As a Member Support Agent at Tide, you will help businesses across India Operations succeed by providing around-the-clock support, solving customer problems, and delivering fast, fluid assistance. Your role is key to Tide’s mission of saving businesses time and money, setting us apart from traditional banks through quick problem-solving and clear, honest advice. You’ll mentor new team members, handle complex banking challenges, and identify areas for improvement to enhance the member experience.
Responsibilities
- Spotting patterns and highlighting areas that can be improved
- Juggling priorities to ensure members get the best support experience
- Handling tough banking challenges like unfamiliar transactions, missing payments, and direct debits
- Mentoring new team members and supporting them with wisdom and experience
- Helping out with common back office tasks
Requirements
- Proficient in Telugu language (read and speak)
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- 1-4 years of experience as a customer support associate
- Understanding and experience working with customer satisfaction metrics
- Ability to attend to all customer queries, comments, and concerns posted to the company social media platform
- Ability to review all social media posts for accuracy
- Ability to use industry tools like Kustomer, Zendesk, GSuite, and Jira
- Confidence in talking with customers to help them get the most from their current account
- Passion for problem-solving and finding solutions to difficult situations
- Always on the lookout for recurring issues and helping create new workflows to solve them
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience working in customer service for the finance industry
- Excellent computer skills
