Role overview
Immunefi is the world's leading crowdsourced security platform for the digital economy, protecting over $180 billion in onchain assets by connecting skilled ethical hackers with blockchain protocols. This role owns the commercial engine and helps extend Immunefi's dominant Web3 security capabilities into the broader enterprise market — financial services, fintech, and large regulated businesses.
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing function end-to-end, building the operations, systems, and strategy from the ground up rather than inheriting an existing playbook
- Build the AI-powered operating layer that makes one person capable of running what would traditionally require a team, including designing and deploying agent-based workflows, automation systems, and reporting infrastructure
- Own go-to-market strategy across core products (Bug Bounty Subscriptions, Managed Triage, and Audit Competitions) and emerging products as they launch
- Define ICPs, build messaging architecture, and translate complex technical security value into language that resonates with founders, protocol teams, and enterprise buyers to drive top-of-funnel demand, qualified pipeline, and MQLs for Sales
- Own how Immunefi shows up in the market: a consistent identity and differentiated story as the trust layer of Web3 security; partner with the CEO on high-stakes public brand and voice changes and own day-to-day execution and evolution of the brand
- Set the quality bar and build systems that turn researcher expertise, security events, and product news into authoritative, organic-first content and thought leadership
- Own the programs that turn the security-researcher community into a marketing asset: activation, crowdsourcing, and advocacy at the community level (elite researcher relationship management sits with the RM team)
- From approximately 3-6 months in, take on positioning and ecosystem activation for the token narrative, working closely with the CEO
- Report to the VP of Delivery, with a dotted line to the CEO on brand narrative and token strategy
- Use AI-powered workflows to compress what would take a large team into what one exceptional person can drive
Requirements
- Real experience scaling a marketing function from zero to one with no dedicated team or corporate-scale budget behind you — having operated as both the budget and the team
- Native intuition for marketing to developers, engineers, or technical/security buyers, or a comparable technical background yourself, with visceral understanding of why proof, credibility, and organic reach outperform paid advertising with technical audiences
- Hands-on experience as a builder of AI-powered marketing systems, actively designing and deploying AI-powered, agent-based workflows and automation pipelines; architecting the system, not just operating tools
- Strong product marketing fundamentals: defined ICPs, built messaging architectures, and shipped GTM programs with outsized, leveraged results in fast-moving, technical industries
- High agency: operates independently, chains work to measurable business outcomes, and holds yourself accountable to them
- Async-strong: comfortable with written thinking and takeaway work being as important as live presentation, given the async-first operating model
- Resilient and direct: flourishes in high-stakes environments, believes in Radical Truth and clarity, and views feedback as a gift that protects the team's time and focus
- Fully remote; globally distributed team
- Must maintain 4+ hours of daily overlap with US/EU business hours
Nice to have
- Comfort with Web3 community platforms and token-based network effects (not required to start, but a plus)
- Deep token marketing experience — noted as a skill expected to be built quickly once fundamentals are in place rather than a prerequisite
- Experience marketing to a technical, skeptical, or expert buyer where organic proof mattered more than paid promotion
- Background in crypto audits, cybersecurity, blockchain infrastructure, or developer tools marketing, or a technical/engineering background that transitioned into marketing
- Established network in the Web3 ecosystem
- Hands-on experience in content programs, PR execution, and event marketing
