Role overview
The Security Operations Implementation Engineer will enable Zeta to implement and integrate SIEMs, detect and respond to attacks early, and ensure infrastructure and applications are secure. The engineer will enhance existing SIEM modules, develop new detection use cases, integrate security technologies such as UEBA, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence, and support the SOC team with effective detection and response capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement and integrate SIEMs across Zeta's infrastructure.
- Detect and respond to attacks at an early stage to keep infrastructure and applications secure.
- Enhance existing SIEM modules and develop new detection use cases.
- Integrate security technologies such as UEBA, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence.
- Support the SOC team with effective detection and response capabilities.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-scale Security Operations and SIEM platforms based on the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Strong hands‑on experience in log parser development.
- Strong hands‑on experience in security content engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience in ELK administration.
- Strong hands‑on experience in AWS environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience in microservices architectures.
- Strong hands‑on experience with open‑source security technologies.
- Highly motivated SIEM / SOC Engineer.
