Role overview
Go Vocal is a gov-tech SaaS scale-up reshaping digital democracy. Its platform has empowered 750,000+ people across 600+ cities in 20+ countries to participate in local decision-making. Recognized as Europe's Best Social Impact Startup and featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and TIME magazine, the company is on track to reach 2.5 million active participants. This is a digital marketing role where you own outcomes, not a channel — specifically, you'll own the most important KPI: qualified pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Run demand gen experimentation as the growth marketing vertical (a team of one), owning the qualified pipeline KPI and proactively deciding what to test to meet targets and scale demand gen exponentially
- Lead the revisit of the funnel and nurturing system to make real use of automations, agents, AI enrichment, and personalization — turning it into growth workflows that are faster and better than what a bigger team could do by hand
- Manage campaigns and channels including founder content distribution, GovTech partnerships, ABM, SEO and AI search visibility, and paid ads (through an agency); test properly, find the right mix, and execute to a high standard
- Treat the website as a growth surface: CRO, A/B tests, technical SEO, and the demo request flow; edit pages yourself rather than filing tickets and let conversion data decide what gets built next
- Provide measurement and reporting that leadership trusts and Sales actually uses, refreshed automatically rather than rebuilt by hand every Monday
Requirements
- You are a digital marketing generalist by personality, curious across the whole funnel
- You build with AI using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Claude, Clay/Apollo, and your own scripts or agents; we will ask to see what you've made
- You have shipped digital marketing experiments end to end: hypothesis, build, launch, readout, decision
- You get things done through people who don't report to you: an agency on paid, a brand team on content, Sales on follow-up
- You are hands-on with the stack: a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot), GA4, Ahrefs, and a CMS like Webflow
- You work remotely in Europe (CET ± 2)
- You care about the work itself: civic engagement, public trust, governments that actually listen
Nice to have
- Experience from demand gen or digital marketing at a B2B startup, a growth role, a full-stack marketing seat at a small company, or an agency where you ran the whole digital mix for clients
- You don't need to tick every box; the title on your CV matters less than what you've shipped — if the mission excites you and you bring the drive to ship, apply
Benefits
- The opportunity to create social impact at scale by helping local governments engage their communities
- A key role in growth from startup to scale-up (currently 50+ employees) and continued international expansion
- A healthy, collaborative work culture with autonomy and ownership
- A diverse, international, and mission-driven team that values both purpose and fun
- An informal and flexible work environment, including hybrid work options
- Regular team events, inspiring lunches, quarterly town halls, and annual global retreats
- 10% of your time is dedicated to personal projects and self-development
- Competitive compensation and benefits package (between 57.5k and 67.5k EUR base), including 26 days of PTO, a yearly training budget, a collective bonus plan, unlimited access to mental well-being support via OpenUp, full remote-work flexibility, and more
