Role overview
Director role in Meesho’s Fulfilment and Experience (F&E) leadership team, responsible for shaping buyer and seller experience and ensuring the platform runs efficiently and reliably across multiple strategic charters.
Responsibilities
- Shape how buyers and sellers experience the platform and how efficiently and reliably it runs.
- Own one or more of Meesho’s most critical F&E charters.
- Scale Meesho’s low‑cost logistics ecosystem within the Valmo Platform & Network Economics charter.
- Drive unbundled logistics innovation across Valmo Airhubs (first/last mile), Valmo Bases (sortation/middle mile), and Captains & Pilots (franchise partners and delivery execution).
- Reduce Cost‑Per‑Delivery‑Order (CPDO) while improving SLA predictability.
- Build product and operational levers that make fast delivery a structural advantage under the Speed Platform & Valmo Express charter.
- Drive program adoption such as FAST badges, early‑morning cutoff SLAs, and dedicated front‑end pickups to lower RTO and cancellation rates.
- Architect end‑to‑end pre‑ and post‑order journeys for India’s price‑sensitive Tier‑2+ consumers under the User Experience & Buyer Trust charter.
- Solve complex operational challenges around 7‑day return lifecycles, fake‑delivery mitigation, and localized tracking updates.
- Own seller onboarding, dispatch panels, auto‑manifesting, claims engines, and payout predictability under the Seller (Supplier) Experience charter.
- Protect seller economics in a 0% commission ecosystem through efficient return disputations and inventory health tools.
- Manage overall platform health, CPDO baselines, and cross‑dock reliability through machine‑learning forecasting tools and automated Control Towers under the Central Cost & Reliability Platforms charter.
- Navigate seamlessly between long‑term strategic transformation and large‑scale, metrics‑driven execution as a highly generalist leadership role.
