Join Raketech, a leading iGaming affiliate and performance marketing company, as a freelance Content Writer. In this role you will produce high‑quality sports content that informs, engages, and sparks debate, combining deep sports expertise with strong storytelling to support upcoming sports projects and new market launches.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging articles covering matches, players, tactics, transfers, and key developments.
- Produce a mix of match analysis, opinion pieces, deep dives, and feature‑style content.
- Translate complex tactical and statistical insights into accessible, reader‑friendly narratives.
- Deliver well‑structured, original, and factually accurate content within agreed deadlines.
- Proactively pitch relevant topics based on trends, fixtures, and audience interest.
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, editorial standards, and SEO best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience writing sports‑related content (portfolio required).
- Possess deep knowledge of at least one major sport and follow it closely.
- Naturally analyse games beyond the surface level — spotting tactical nuances, performance trends, and key moments.
- Ability to articulate strong, well‑reasoned opinions supported by data and context.
- Understanding of how to balance analysis with storytelling to create engaging content.
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
- Native speaker of one of the Nordic languages.
- Reliable, self‑driven, and comfortable working in a freelance/remote setup.
