Responsibilities

Write advanced SQL queries and develop database procedures.
Create data visualizations using Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
Design and develop ETL processes, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Lakes.
Gather and analyze requirements to design logical and physical data models.
Work with various data storage and database technologies to build scalable solutions.
Deploy data applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and actively contribute to project and product development.
Design and development of the client's Azure Data Platform to modernize and optimize critical processes.
Migrate selected SSAS cube objects and SSIS pipelines from the on-premises SQL Server to Azure Cloud Resources.
Ensure data integrity, completeness, and operational readiness of the client's data processes.
Improve UI/UX, unify logging, and set up monitoring and alerts to enhance operational efficiency.
Automate Power BI reports and workspace management.
Establish backup strategies, cost management, and documentation to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable platform operations.
Design and development of a universal data platform for global aerospace companies using Azure and Databricks.
Cover design of architecture and processes while exercising freedom for technology selection.
Address critical data management challenges to boost user adoption, performance, and data integrity.
Implement a comprehensive data catalog for simplified data access and governance.
Leverage Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark for data management.
Develop secure integration solutions.
Enhance data quality monitoring utilizing Delta Live Table tests.
Contribute to the further development of ML components.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in technical, mathematical, or economic fields.
Minimum 1,5 year of experience in implementing, developing, or maintaining Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, or Big Data systems.
Strong understanding of data processing and ETL/ELT techniques.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization.
Solid understanding of Azure services for cloud-based data solutions.
Familiarity with web application design principles (twelve-factor applications) and microservices architecture.
Experience with modern development tools, including Git and CI servers.
Independent and responsible approach to delivering high-quality solutions.
Proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent command of English (at least C1 level).
Interest in developing as a Data Engineer.
