Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features using PHP.
- Work with our in-house PHP framework, built using modern Symfony libraries.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues.
- Work with AWS and MySQL as part of the backend stack.
- Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver reliable solutions.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in PHP backend development.
- Experience with Symfony or modern Symfony libraries.
- Good knowledge of MySQL.
- Experience working with AWS.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Open to learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
- Comfortable using AI tools in everyday software development.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust.
- Experience with Python.
- A strong interest in learning Rust or Python — both are actively used across parts of the project.
