Role overview
BJAK is the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, founded in 2019 with a mission to provide smarter ways for people to plan, save, and grow their money. They are currently expanding into spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more. BJAK is looking for strong mobile developers to build their AI Neobank app across Android and iOS. They are seeking driven builders who can ship clean, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences and who are passionate about redefining financial applications.
Responsibilities
- Build mobile features across Android, iOS or cross-platform flows depending on your strength.
- Create clean journeys for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX and AI-assisted features.
- Work from product problem to shipped mobile experience, not just assigned screens.
- Collaborate with backend, design, product and AI teams to launch reliable customer-facing features.
- Improve app quality through production feedback, analytics, crash reports and user behaviour.
- Help raise the standard for mobile UX, reliability and speed across the product.
Requirements
- Strong mobile development experience in Android, iOS or both.
- Experience shipping production mobile apps used by real users.
- Good product sense, UX judgement and attention to edge cases.
- Able to work across APIs, releases, debugging and production issues.
- Hands-on builder who can take ownership without heavy guidance.
- Clear evidence of shipped work: app links, GitHub, screenshots or project explanations.
- Engineers with real technology career highlights (personally helped build, ship or scale a serious product, platform or system).
- Must be based in India.
- Strong English communication is required.

- This role is remote, but candidates must be based in India. We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in India.
