Role overview
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain ServiceNow AIOps and Event Management solutions following ServiceNow best practices
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow AIOps capabilities for business-critical applications and infrastructure
- Implement Event Management solutions, including alert ingestion, alert correlation, and noise reduction
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools
- Build and enhance platform capabilities using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective ITOM solutions
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business needs
- Perform integration testing and ensure high-quality solution delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and platform-related issues
- Support platform upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security best practices
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and provide technical recommendations
- Work in cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery
Requirements
- Experience - 5.5+ years
- Strong experience in ServiceNow AIOps, Event Management, and ITOM
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow AIOps solutions
- Strong ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes
- Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped Applications
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Event Management and alert correlation capabilities
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes and best practices
- Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to have
- ServiceNow certifications in ITOM, Event Management, or AIOps will be an added advantage
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
