Overview Job Description The Documentation Analyst will handle daily documentation, confirmations, and related operational activities for the team. The role involves ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately, managing exception items through resolution, and supporting projects, group initiatives, and exception processing activities. A solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and investment products is expected during the probation period, including Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Structured Products, and Exchange Traded Funds. The derivatives documentation team manages confirmations and queries related to documentation activities across global clients, covering FX Cash, Options, Rates, Credit Derivatives, trade confirmations, affirmations, and novations. Key Responsibilities - Ensure trades are confirmed and required actions are completed within defined timelines. - Coordinate with clients to obtain confirmations on time. - Monitor queues and ensure all trades are processed appropriately. - Escalate key issues accurately and in a timely manner to manage operational risks. - Work with Middle Office, Front Office, and clients to resolve discrepancies. - Maintain understanding of derivatives products and terminology used in documentation. - Respond to queries within agreed timelines and refer unresolved breaks. - Perform analysis of trades and confirmations. - Support reduction of Run-The-Bank costs and process improvement initiatives. - Prepare and monitor MIS reports for business reporting. - Ensure regulatory requirements are met while confirming trades. Skills and Experience - Knowledge of FX and derivative products along with documentation processes. - Experience with derivatives or FX documentation is preferred. - Understanding of front-to-back processing including trading, documentation, settlement, accounting, and risk. - Ability to work with Sales, Traders, Clients, Middle Office, Accounting, Operations, Documentation, and Collateral Management teams. - Maintain communication with internal teams and external counterparties. - Support workflow improvements, process standardization, and error reduction initiatives. - Provide team coverage when required. - Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflow efficiency while applying sound judgment.
