SSIS Developer

- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions. - Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). - Knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and data integration best practices. - Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and automation. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling. - Experience in performance tuning and query optimization. - Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or TFS. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Design, develop, and maintain ETL packages using SSIS. - Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms. - Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. - Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities. - Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Monitor and maintain data integration workflows and schedules. - Collaborate with business users and data teams to understand data requirements. - Implement error handling, logging, and auditing mechanisms within SSIS packages. - Support data warehouse development and reporting initiatives. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities. - Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and workflows. - Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 5–7 years of experience in SSIS development and SQL Server environments. - Relevant Microsoft certifications are an added advantage
