This is a senior-level Data Engineer - Data Platform role at Arco, where the successful candidate will contribute to the development of the company's data platform and collaborate cross-functionally with analytics engineers, data scientists, business analysts and software engineers. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Arco's data platform
- Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, business analysts and software engineers
Requirements
- Senior-level role requiring several years of professional data engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one of Scala, Java, Python or Go
- SQL proficiency
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and application scalability
- Experience with distributed processing frameworks
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and related tools
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous development and continuous testing
- Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow, Luigi, DBT or Dataform
- Experience with cloud solutions
Nice to have
- Experience building data warehouse, data lake or data lakehouse environments
- Experience building data platforms
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation or Puppet
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform tools
