Cyber Security Architect

Join a team responsible for securing enterprise-scale digital platforms and cloud-native ecosystems. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will drive security strategy, architecture, and governance initiatives across complex technology environments, ensuring that security is embedded into every stage of the product and platform lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and business teams to design resilient, scalable, and secure solutions. Your Role You will provide technical leadership in cybersecurity architecture, risk management, and secure solution design across enterprise and cloud environments. Acting as a trusted security advisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security-by-design principles, assess emerging threats, and drive adoption of secure engineering practices across the organization. In this role, you will: Define and implement enterprise security architectures aligned with business, technical, and regulatory requirements. Research security and technical requirements and align teams to organizational objectives and security strategies. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to embed security-by-design principles across applications and platforms. Design and implement highly scalable cloud-first and cloud-native security solutions. Conduct threat modeling exercises and security assessments for applications, services, and infrastructure. Analyze complex business and technical scenarios to define security requirements and mitigation strategies. Evaluate security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, providing guidance on prioritization and remediation. Drive adoption of security best practices across development, DevOps, and product engineering teams. Provide technical leadership for enterprise-wide security initiatives and transformation programs. Design and review Identity and Access Management (IAM) architectures and security controls. Partner with stakeholders to improve security posture, governance, and compliance across enterprise environments. Support incident response planning, security operations, and cyber resilience initiatives. Your Profile Mandatory Skills 14–17 years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in Cyber Security Architecture and Risk Assessment. Proven experience designing enterprise security architectures across complex technology landscapes. Strong expertise in threat modeling methodologies for applications, platforms, and cloud services. Experience with enterprise security architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, compute platforms, and distributed systems. Deep understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), DevOps, and application security practices. Hands-on experience designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, governance, risk management, and security operations. Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident response, and security engineering. Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of API security, integration architectures, orchestration technologies, and systems resiliency. Programming experience with one or more languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, or JavaScript. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Skills Experience working in large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs. Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture and modern cloud security frameworks. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer. Experience with security automation, DevSecOps, and cloud-native security solutions. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, or similar standards.
