Role overview
Growe welcomes candidates who are excited to analyze and tune system designs, decompose tasks, lead research, prototype architectures, manage tech debt, mentor backend developers, support existing functionality, and assist QA testing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and tune system designs to identify and fix performance bottlenecks
- Analyze tasks, decompose them into sub-tasks, and estimate the development time
- Perform code & design reviews
- Lead research and POCs of new features
- Help with new architecture prototyping and migration on it
- Identify areas for improvement and manage tech debt
- Mentor and guide an engineering team of BE developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous delivery, and high ownership
- Support the current functionality and maintain backward compatibility for the releases
- Deliver completed tasks for testing and provide advisory assistance to QAs during testing
Requirements
- 5+ years of .NET web development experience
- 2+ years in a Tech Lead position
- Expertise and deep understanding of .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and C# technologies
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with a breadth of backend architecture principles and technologies
- Experience with SSE, Long Polling, WebSockets
- Experience with Unit and Integration tests
- Experience with GitLab CI or other CI/CD technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Good written and spoken English

- Experience with Kafka (will be a plus)
