Role overview

The role leads the maintenance and development of Store Planning drawing files and documents through the Design Development phases, especially on complex projects, while collaborating with business partners to ensure compliance with Target guidelines and delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes. It also serves as a Subject Matter Expert, leading multiple work efforts and special projects, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the maintenance & development of multiple Store Planning drawing files & documents through the Design Development phases, especially complex projects.
  • Collaborates with business partners across the board to ensure that drawings/layouts/documents follow Target guidelines & standards, are processed and is responsible for the deliverables with desired quality within agreed timeframe.
  • Takes on complex projects, quality assurance, guideline updates and project specific training.
  • Takes on Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsibility. Leads 2 or 3 work efforts or special projects while working on multiple projects.
  • Leads processes & projects.
  • Develops, trains, and coaches team members.
  • Assists on skill assessment and program management.
  • Works with limited direction on projects/work efforts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture/Engineering with 7-9 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant retail experience in Indian / International retail.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD/Microstation, Revit/SketchUp.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; competency with the Imperial Measurement System.
  • Excellent understanding of company’s strategic direction.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and advocate company’s strategic direction.
