Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient data extraction, labeling, and cleaning from English emails to ensure high-quality data
- Monitor and analyze data trends for various merchants and vendors, including categorizing the email and identifying the trends
- Maintain the stability of merchant and vendor data, investigating anomalies such as sudden drops or spikes in data volume
- Collaborate with teams in both China and the U.S. to ensure data consistency and quality
- Provide timely responses to analysts and clients' demands and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 0 - 2 years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst
- Experience in data tagging, cleaning or Regex
- Experience in managing multiple processes in parallel
- Familiar with accounting standards, able to distinguish the company's accounting categories, and understand the company's accounting records, preferably with experience using mainstream ERP systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, or QBO
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams across time zones and cultures
Nice to have
- Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python are a plus

Additional details
- This is a fully remote role based in India
- Working hours: 8 am - 5 pm IST
- General expectation of some overlap with Chinese or U.S. work hours (more details shared during recruiting process)
- Expected start date: as soon as possible, and no later than May 5, 2025
- Opportunity to be promoted and manage a team of other Data QA Associates for exceptional employees
