The hospital continues to grow with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, advanced technology, and patient experience. Role Description This is an on-site internship role based in Port Blair. Interns will support clinical and administrative teams through tasks such as assisting with patient documentation, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate records under supervision. Daily responsibilities may include observing clinical workflows, supporting data collection and basic reporting, and helping with patient communication activities as allowed by hospital protocols. Interns may also assist in preparing educational materials, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with staff on process optimization. The role is designed to provide exposure to orthopaedic hospital operations and patient-centered care in a structured learning environment. Qualifications Ability to maintain accurate records, handle documentation, and support basic data entry and reporting tasks. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. Attention to detail and adherence to hospital protocols, privacy standards, and safety guidelines. Interest in healthcare, orthopaedics, or hospital administration; relevant academic background or coursework is an advantage. Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and ability to work collaboratively under supervision. Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) for routine administrative tasks. Availability to work on-site in Port Blair for the full internship duration as per hospital scheduling requirements. Show more
