Position: Law Clerk Type: Contract Compensation: $42 - $55/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms. Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages. Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review. Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents. Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues. Requirements Have strong relevant experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure. Have hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way. Possess a strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents. Demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats. Be comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
