Role overview
Looking for a proactive and technically strong IT Pre-Sales Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to support our business growth by designing client-centric IT solutions, preparing proposals, and collaborating closely with sales and technical teams. This role is critical in bridging customer requirements with the right technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support sales teams in pre-sales and solution design activities
- Understand customer business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, and solution documentation
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and solution discussions
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal engineering teams
- Validate solutions for feasibility, scalability, and cost optimization
- Ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery/project teams
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
- 2–3 years of experience in IT Pre-Sales / IT Services
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure solutions
- Ability to convert business requirements into technical architectures
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills
- Experience in proposal writing and solution documentation
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Nice to have
- Expertise in Networking: Campus Networking (LAN/WAN), Wireless Networking Solutions, WAN & SD-WAN Technologies
- Expertise in Security: Network & Infrastructure Security, Data Protection & Backup Security, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Application Security
- Expertise in Datacenter: Servers & Storage Solutions, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Backup & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR), Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, VMware, AWS/Azure, Security certifications)
- Experience working with OEMs (Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, etc.)
