Role overview
We’re hiring a kickass Growth Engineer for a world-renowned Growth Consulting company based out of Spain. The team you work with uses technology with purpose, reason, and logic. They don't jump on every new bandwagon or complicate things unnecessarily. They start with the basics and are keen to explore the cutting-edge. In other words, they're proficient in React, TypeScript, or Svelte, but work extensively on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Responsibilities
- Crafting experiments and the tools to build them as one of the Growth Engineers
- Empowering Service Squads with experimentation capabilities through your work on the platform team
Requirements
- Over 4 years of Frontend development experience (preferred)
- Thriving in an agile environment and adaptability to any framework or tool
- Working directly with the DOM and understanding its construction and operation, including the rendering process in browsers
- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as the bedrock of the work
- Understanding of web performance and Core Web Vitals, including website loading processes and optimization techniques
- Knowing how Google evaluates website performance
- Teamwork experience with Git, being methodical and adhering to common naming conventions and processes
- Enjoying teamwork and being unafraid to seek or offer help when needed
- Managing criticism well, both giving and receiving
- Valuing best practices, continuous improvement, and open, heartfelt communication
- Being eager to learn and share knowledge with others
- High-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, or Svelte
- Extensive experience on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Nice to have
- Experience working with Svelte
- Experience with CDNs and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Dabbled in Growth or Digital Marketing
- Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Amplitude
- Experience with experimentation tools like Google Tag Manager, Optimize, or VWO
