Responsibilities

  • Utilize Unity technical tools and solutions to solve performance issues while executing artistic and game vision.
  • Cooperate with Art and Development divisions to identify and create art-pipeline optimizations and tools for new and existing production workflow.
  • Optimize memory and game performance by realizing artistic and gameplay intentions within project constraints.
  • Monitor performance of levels and the game in real time.
  • Implement complex art features in collaboration with the Development division.
  • Create and maintain technical art documentation.
  • Set up, implement, and optimize VFX and SFX.
  • Provide technical support for UI/UX implementation.
  • Offer animation technical support and collaborate on animation pipelines.
  • Support and collaborate on Level Art with the Art division.
  • Set up and script shaders, including creation, optimization, and scripting.
  • Develop and maintain modular contractors: geometry setup, prefab setup, material blending techniques.
  • Write basic C# scripts for interfacing with the game development team, tools, and pipeline development.
  • Write medium‑complexity C# or C++ scripts for interfacing with the game development team, tools, and pipeline development.

  • Manage version control using Git, SVN, Perforce, or PlasticSCM.

  • Handle particles, rigging, and related visual effects.
  • Conduct 3D modeling and texturing pipeline work and support 2D asset pipelines (sprites, scripts, etc.).
