Role overview
As an Azure AD B2C Software Engineer, you will play a major role in the development and maintenance of consumer-facing Azure products, ensuring the seamless functioning and user experience of Azure B2C applications. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Azure services, cloud-based software development, and user experience optimization, with the mindset to work independently and lead a business-critical initiative to transform, rationalize, and migrate critical business applications to Azure B2C.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain consumer-facing Azure B2C applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Integrate Azure services effectively into the software architecture, optimizing scalability, security, and efficiency
- Ensure seamless data synchronization between Azure services and the consumer applications
- Continuously improve user experience by identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback for iterative product enhancements
- Implement security measures, access controls, and encryption to safeguard user data and privacy
- Ensure that all Azure B2C applications adhere to organizational security standards and compliance requirements
- Document system configurations, development processes, and changes for reference and future optimization
- Maintain records of software performance, issues, and resolutions
- Provide technical consultation to internal teams, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices
- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to achieve cohesive product functionality
- Custom policies for Sign In, Sign Up, Reset Password, Profile Edit
- User Journey and Sub Journeys
- Coordinate with internal business and IT stakeholders to contribute to the implementation of designs in adherence with the organization's strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud-based software engineering, specifically focusing on Azure B2C
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, cloud-based software architecture, and API integration
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end frameworks
- Experience with Azure DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment practices
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Eagerness to stay updated with the latest developments in Azure technologies and software engineering best practices
