Role overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of API testing, and a solid grasp of UX principles. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow in the world of quality assurance and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman.
- Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling.
- Evaluate user flows and interactions to ensure a seamless experience.
- Identify inconsistencies or usability issues and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Report issues and test results clearly and concisely.
- Stay updated on QA best practices, tools, and emerging trends.
- Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes and automation strategies.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (non-negotiable).
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a consulting environment.
- A mindset to exceed expectations and deliver results.
- Strong grasp of REST Protocol and API testing.
- Proficiency in tools like Postman or similar platforms.
- A strong sense of UX, ensuring smooth and intuitive user interactions.
