Key highlights
- TEECOM covers certification exam fees, study materials, and continuing education including conference attendance
- Hired at all levels (TPM I through TPM III)
- Fully remote consulting firm with global projects
- Technical background in at least one discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) required
- Field/on-site presence required across active projects

Role overview
TEECOM hires by discipline rather than by open requisition, and is actively growing Technical Project Manager teams across the US, UK, and India. Rather than interviewing for a single posted role, candidates complete a structured Discipline Assessment that establishes their level and demonstrated capability; recruiting and leadership then match their profile to the best available opening. Roles span Technical Project Manager I through III, with title determined by assessment results, not by the role applied to.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts — owning the relationship, the technology scope, and the delivery across multiple concurrent projects
- Spend significant time on-site managing the technology scope of active projects alongside construction teams, contractors, and client stakeholders
- Use technical expertise to make real-time decisions in the field
- Review deliverables for quality and maintain client trust through construction and commissioning
- Manage design team coordination
- Lead client meetings
- Drive construction administration
- Review submittals and RFIs
- Ensure projects close out cleanly
- At more senior levels, take ownership of major accounts with multiple active projects
- Mentor junior TPMs and engineers
- Contribute to growing the account and TEECOM's presence with the client
Requirements
- Technical background in at least one technology discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) — must be able to review drawings, discuss design decisions, and troubleshoot issues in the field
- Experience managing technology consulting or AEC projects through the full lifecycle — design, construction administration, and commissioning
- Comfort being on-site regularly — this role requires field presence across active projects
- Client-facing ownership — manage the relationship directly and be accountable for project outcomes
- Strong commercial and financial management skills — managing scope, contracts, budgets, schedules, and risk
- Strong technical communication skills — translate technical issues into clear decisions and coordinate across disciplines, clients, and contractors
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across a single client account or portfolio
- Degree in any four-year engineering discipline, construction project management, technology management, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to have
- PMP certification or equivalent — preferred
